Test fee

The fee for the MSAP-Ireland 2022 is €102 per candidate during the timely registration period (7 November 2022 – 29 January 2023).
An additional fee of €35 applies to test bookings made between 30 January 2023 - 24 February 2023, as these are considered late bookings.

VISA and Mastercard are accepted for payment (AMEX and Diners are not accepted). ACER uses a secure carrier for its online payment functions to act as its interface with the banking system. No credit card or personal details are stored by ACER.  Concessions or payment by instalments are not available.

If a relative or friend is allowing you to use their credit card for this transaction, please ensure that they understand a charge from "ACER" will appear on their bank statement.

What if I don’t own a credit card and cannot get approved access to a family member or friend's card?

If you do not have a credit card, single use cards are available for purchase from banks for use on the internet.

Refund policy

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Registration fees for the MSAP Ireland 2023 test will be refunded without charge, if requested within 14 days of your registration date. After that period, an administration charge of €35 will be deducted. Refund requests for MSAP Ireland 2023 registrations must be submitted before midnight (IST) on 24 February 2023, unless otherwise allowed by law.
  2. Once bookings are closed and after the 14 day period, refunds may only be provided if there are extenuating circumstances, in which case, medical certificates or other official proof must be provided (within 1 week of your scheduled exam session). If your reason is approved, the funds will be refunded to the credit/debit card used for payment, minus an administration fee of €35.
  3. Except as otherwise required by law, no refunds will be given for the purchase of any MSAP preparation materials. As the digital materials are accessible as soon as the payment is received, if you purchase a Practice Test, you agree that any cooling off period does not apply for any change of mind. In making your purchase, you consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal from the contract once the supply of digital content has begun. 
  4. MSAP registrations for candidates requesting reasonable test adjustments may be cancelled and refunds requested any time before bookings close or reasonable test adjustments are offered by ACER.

Requests for cancellation of registration and refund of registration fee must be made through your ACER User Account. To do this, login to your ACER User Account, click on the ‘Manage’ button next to MSAP Ireland and then click on the ‘Request a refund’ button.

Performance of the Service will occur

From the date your registration for MSAP Ireland is accepted and your results finalised and forwarded. This should occur within a period of six months of you sitting of the MSAP Ireland test.

Performance of digital content

Any digital content in respect of MSAP will be provided online and/or in PDF format readily accessible by commercially available software.

Right to cancel – General

You have a right to cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must request a refund in writing via email to the MSAP Office.

Right to cancel – Goods

For sale of goods, the cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the goods supplied, unless this right has been waved.

Right to cancel – Services

For services, the cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract (i.e. when ACER accepts your registration).

Effects of cancellation – General

If you cancel your contract, ACER will reimburse to you all payments received from you. ACER may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

ACER will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:

   a. 14 days after the day ACER receives back from you any goods supplied, or

   b. (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

   c. if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which ACER is informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

ACER will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

Effects of cancellation – For goods

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to ACER, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to ACER. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Effects of cancellation – For services

If you request to begin the performance of services during the cancellation period you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been performed until you have communicated us your cancellation from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract (this applies only where the request to cancel the services is made before they have been fully performed).

Loss of right to terminate

Should you agree to immediate performance of the purchase contract in respect of goods you may lose your right to the 14 day termination period.
